River Belle Online Casino Wins Progressive Slots Award
The Strictly Slots magazine reader’s poll awards online casino excellence in various fields and categories. The Belle Rock online casino River Belle recently picked up the prestigious “Best Online Casino for Progressive Slots” award and placed third in three other categories; “Best Online Casino for Slots”, “Best Video Poker” and “Best Sign up Bonus”.
The Strictly Slots magazine awards are considered prestigious by the online casino industry, as the awards are handed out by unbiased readers of the magazine. Readers return their ballot voting slips and the responses are tallied and results released with fanfare. Some awards in the online casino industry are nothing more than awards handed out by

online casino marketing teams to their own casinos, making those particular awards something of a farce.
Tim Johnson is the Chairman of Carmen Media Group, owner of the Belle Rock Online Casinos, including River Belle Casino, had this to say about the awards his casino was able to feature in: “It is truly an honor to have taken home the ‘gold medal’ for Best Online Casino for Progressive Slots and three ‘bronze medals’ across top gaming categories such as Slots, Video Poker and Sign Up Bonus offers. The results of this year’s ‘Strictly Slots’ awards indicate River Belle is living up to the expectations of online gamers and we are very proud of this achievement.”
With a signup bonus to die for (200% to $110), new promotions every month, along with their award-winning slots games, River Belle Online Casino is leading the way for Belle Rock and the online casino industry.

Sevilla Striker Kanoute Sacrifices Principles
Mali sticker Frederic Kanoute drew worldwide attention to himself last week when he refused to wear his club’s sponsor on his playing shirt due to the betting logo being against his religious beliefs.
However, it now appears as if Kanoute has done a back-flip on his position in regards to the sponsor’s logo. The El Pais newspaper reported the logo was fully visible on Friday when the team’s official photo was published.
888.com recently signed a $4 million agreement to become the main sponsor of Spanish football club Sevilla, which plays in the Primera Liga. The sponsorship arrangement included prominent logo displays on the team shirts, and billboard
sponsorship around the Sevilla home stadium.
Kanoute drew worldwide attention to his ‘plight’ by refusing to wear the sponsor’s logo, claiming it conflicted with his religious beliefs as a Muslim. Debate raged, with many supporting the striker’s decision to cover up the logo during two league matches last week.
Gambling is outlawed by the Muslim faith. The striker, who was purchased for around $6 million by Sevilla from Tottenham, said last week: “Gambling is the work of Satan. It is forbidden by the Koran and I will not play in a shirt that promotes it.
However, it appears that the former West Ham and Spurs striker’s principles may not have been as strong as he wanted us to believe. The reports from Spanish newspaper El Pais suggest an embarrassing backdown on the issue from Kanoute.
More news regarding this issue is sure to be released soon and I, for one, will be following the developments with great interest.
